PS Now has improved drastically in recent years, but it still doesn’t hold a candle to Xbox Game Pass. While Sony has been laser-focused on hardware sales, Microsoft has lapped it with the most attractive subscription service in the industry.

So even if you can’t get your hands on an Xbox Series X or Series S this holiday season, you can still grab a subscription to Xbox Game Pass and play Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5.

Obviously, Microsoft would prefer that you buy an Xbox Series X, but you can play Xbox games on your phone, your tablet, or your PC. Xbox head Phil Spencer does not care where you play Xbox games. And Xbox Game Pass has taken off as a result. But while Sony might be dominating console sales, Microsoft has shifted its focus elsewhere.
